Are You A Caring Christian?
Dear Missionaries, Pastors, Cell Group Leaders, Friends and Family in Jesus,
Wonderful blessings of love and peace be with you today and always in Jesus Mighty Name. How are you doing? It is our prayer that GOD is your unending source of joy, peace, strength and hope.
Today, we like to share with you the tears and cries from the hearts of many Christian Believers who are living in danger, and under painful persecution for their faith in Christ, in just one part of the world and pray that GOD will open your hearts and eyes to sincerely respond in a loving way in obedience to the Lord's teachings in the Bible.
They represent many, many Christians spread across the world who are facing terrible persecution and sufferings, because they want to stay faithful to Jesus, and their cries must not remain unheard in the midst of fellow believers that have been spared such persecution in our complacent and self-sufficient Churches around the world.
Below is a true account of what they are facing daily because of their love for Jesus:
" They stabbed one believer through the mouth with a long knife and poured boiling water down the throat of another who was caught with a Bible. An entire family had been drowned."
Believers in the Hmong Tribe of Southeast Asia agreed to give their testimony on videotape. They wanted to encourage Christians in the West.
One Hmong Christian shared, " The Communist authorities feel threatened because so many Hmong people have become Christians. They beat the Christians to try to force them to return to their worship of evil spirits."
" The local police forbade us to become Christians. They threatened to put us in jail and even kill us, a woman added. But if we have to die for Christ's sake, we are willing."
These believers are willing to put themselves in even greater danger to let the world know they are standing strong in the face of persecution, so as to encourage others for Christ. The Hmong tribe is the largest of Southeast Asia and is experiencing the greatest growth of Christianity. It is also one of the most persecuted people groups in the world.
Another woman said, "I thank God that we have remained strong. I do believe that the persecution is just a test of our faith in Christ. It brings out the true riches. It brings out the silver and the gold. Just pray that we will be faithful to the end."
Beloved friends, Pastors, Church leaders and Christians, have you daily said a sincere prayer to our Heavenly Father to ask for GOD's comfort, protection, strength, help, provisions for their daily needs and hope, for our suffering family members in Christ in many parts of the world?
Have you shared their sufferings at your weekly church meetings and at your cell group gatherings? Or have you been so lukewarm and so cold in your love for the Body of Christ that you have uttered not even a word of intercession to our Lord and our GOD when you come into worship, concerning the plight of our many persecuted and suffering brothers and sisters in Christ? How we have failed and we pray we will not continue in our failure.
Yes, let us in humility and in true repentance, seek GOD's forgiveness for our lack of love, and ask our Heavenly Father to give us a new heart to be able to feel, to want to care and share in the sufferings of our dear brothers and sisters in Christ.
GOD teaches that when one member suffers, let us suffer with them. When one member rejoices, let us rejoice with them. In so doing, we testify to the unbelieving world that we truly belong to Jesus and we have love for one another. We are then fulfilling the Lord's command to bear ye one another's burdens in the love of Jesus.
It is time for you and I to wake-up. Have we forgotten about bearing one another's burdens in the love of Jesus? What is keeping us so busy with activities and activities that blind us spiritually so as to disobey the Lord's command to pray, care, encourage, support and strengthen one another in our walk with Jesus? Is it our drive for materialism and funding needs and for more numbers in our church attendance that we are blinded to what really is in the heart of our Lord and Saviour concerning ministering and tending the flock for Christ?
Read what GOD has to say to you in the Book of REVELATION concerning your spiritual condition before the Lord, and you will find that GOD condemns five out of seven churches for not walking according to His ways and GOD warns the Churches and Christians to repent, before He comes and take away your Lampstand - which is your privilege to witness for Christ.
We are not perfect and we are not called to be so narrowly focused in concentrating only on our small community needs - instead, GOD calls us to reach the World for Jesus. Your mission field and my mission field is the whole world, not just your little local church, and we are each called to pray and minister and encourage each other for Jesus.
Yes, we must encourage and exhort one another to Proclaim the Gospel Message far and wide and to further the Kingdom of GOD. Every blessing that GOD has blessed your Church and you as an individual child of GOD, is not for you to keep to yourself - it is to be used to be a blessing for the furtherance of the Lord's Kingdom.
Know this truth - GOD does not demand that I succeed in everything, but GOD demands that I be faithful in my walk and service for Him. Yes, as a born-again Christian and fellow member to one another in the Body of Christ, you and I has been commanded to faithfully share the Message of Salvation In Jesus to every nation, kindred and tongue, and we are to care for one another and uphold one another in prayer, thanksgivings and praise before our Heavenly Father's Throne of Grace and Mercies without ceasing. Amen and Amen.
Let us with love and humbleness of heart, remember to support our suffering members in the Body of Christ by daily and regularly saturating them with prayer intercession, words of encouragement and help, and be a voice for the voiceless to the Glory of GOD. Amen.
GOD bless you.
With Love In Jesus,
Ben and Anna (Missionaries)
